KUBU Studio
KUBU Studio is an architecture, interior, and procurement practice creating grounded, enduring environments across Africa.
Our name comes from KUBU — the Setswana word for hippopotamus—symbolising strength, stability, and quiet authority. It also reflects a refusal to conform.
We design with intention: rooted in context, confident in restraint, and fearless in execution. Every project balances nature, materiality, and contemporary form — nothing added without purpose.
